“Surrounded by
ancient medicine,
held by good
company”
This is your home for a moment
About the inn
The Inn is a hub for presence and belonging. A symbol of the little village we all should have access to. A place where the normal yet profound things of life are experienced again, woven with medicinal and ancient wisdom.
This little Inn is not a hotel. It is a temporary home for max. six adults at a time. One comes here to create and another to be a medicinal resident. People arrive to simply feel at home for a moment; to digest what has been or to create what wants to be born.
Anima & Terra is surrounded by healing methods that serve as the architects of the space. You feel it in the presence of host and medicine woman Karen. You taste it in the kitchen full of local ingredients and in your herbal teas. You smell it in the cotton sheets, sauna and medicinal garden. You hear it in the calm of the hills and the far-away sounds of the sea.
And whether you find yourself chatting, sharing a glass of wine, or sinking into complete silence, you choose your own pace. Everyone here gets the vibe: so feel free to connect, or happily do absolutely nothing at all. Welcome home.

Philosophy
Our founder Karen, started this place from a true manifesto. She believes that our modern world is running on an overstimulated and hyper-productive Yang current. As a sociologist, she sees how our collective structures have detached us from true connection; and as an acupuncturist and medicine woman, she feels how our bodies long for Yin lead and rest. We have forgotten how to simply be.
The Inn for the Soul is therefore a sanctuary where the most simple and basic needs of humanity are met, even though they are the hardest to realise nowadays. Such as belonging, connection, healing and slowing down through the elements. In this way Karen hopes to contribute to the health of people, our relations together, and mama earth.
The Inn will open its doors mid 2027.
